Football Fans Riot - Slovan vs Stuttgart
Slovan Bratislava’s Europa League match against VFB Stuttgart has been marred by violence on the terraces. The referee had to take the players off the field a few minutes before half time as Slovan fans entered the visitors sector creating havoc throwing fireworks, plastic chairs and anything they could get their hands on. The security inside the stadium couldn’t control the rampaging hooligans and it was a few minutes before the riot police were called in and restored some semblance of order.

Brawl in Basketball Exhibition - Serbia vs Greece
Nenad Krstic, the starting center for the Oklahoma City Thunder, spent night in police custody in Athens for his role in a bloody brawl in an exhibition game between Serbia and Greece in preparation for the FIBA world championship.
A video of Krstic, who plays for Serbia, attempting to throw a chair at center Sofoklis Schortsanitis of Greece became a sensation on the Internet on Friday. Krstic missed his target but hit the Greek reserve Yannis Bouroussis, who had blood streaming from his head
As a result of the fight, officials ended the game with 2 minutes 40 seconds remaining and Greece leading by a point.
Atletico Madrid Coach lost temper - Quique Sanchez Flores
Atletico Madrid coach Quique Sanchez Flores has received a 2-game touchline ban from the Spanish FA (RFEF) as a result of his behavior during his side' s 3-2 home defeat to Espanyol at the weekend.
With his side trailing 3-2 in the closing moments, Quique lost his temper at Espanyol midfielder Javi Marquez, who was lying on the ground after having been fouled and tried to pull him to his feet.
The referee sent Quique to the stands for that action, but at the end of the game, the Atletico coach returned to the pitch to remonstrate with Espanyol striker Luis Garcia, who he later accused of 'laughing at the club and their fans,' . Quique had to be physically restrained by Espanyol goalkeeper Carlos Kameni in the resulting free for all between both sets of players.
The RFEF decided to suspend Quique for one game for his original sending off and for a further match as a result of his decision to return to the field of play.
Birmingham Football Fans - Pitch Invasion
The Second City Derby is always a powder keg on top of a bonfire in a nuclear waste repository, but the timing on Birmingham fans' decision to invade the pitch and chuck flares at Aston Villa supporters as a depraved way of celebrating a 2-1 Carling Cup quarterfinal win was less than ideal. Earlier in the day, Prince William, David Beckham and Prime Minister David Cameron charmed their way through a World Cup bid presentation to the voting members of FIFA's executive committee. The scenes at St. Andrews Stadium probably weren't what they had in mind as a final statement the night before a decision on the 2018 World Cup is to be made, though.
The '80s revival movement that took place on the pitch as Birmingham's pitch invaders charged toward the away supporters, throwing flares over the human wall of riot police that quickly assembled, and dodging the torn-up seats hurled by Villa supporters probably won't do much to affect the bid at this late stage, but still...it wasn't good.
