Craig Gordon vs Bolton – Save Of The Season?

Temperature may be at a freezing low in the UK at the moment but that did not stop Sunderland goalkeeper Craig Gordon from making arguably one of the best saves of his career and the save of the season so far.
In a week which saw most Premier League matches postponed due to heavy snowfall, the Sunderland vs Bolton match went on as planned with Sunderland taking all three points thanks to a Danny Welbeck goal.
Gordon however played a major role in the victory by producing a fine save just before half time that denied Zat Knight what would have been an easy poke-in goal. Sunderland held on to the lead and won the match 1-0 thanks to the outstanding save by the Scottish goalkeeper.
What do you think? Is Craig Gordon’s save against Bolton deserves to be the save of the season?

Gate 4 fans in Zagreb (Dinamo vs PAOK)

Around a dozen supporters of the Greek soccer club PAOK were injured in an attack by local hooligans on the bus driving them to a hotel in the Croatian capital, police said on Tuesday.
"According to our first reports, around a dozen Greek supporters were injured in the attack on their bus. Four of them were taken for treatment in Zagreb hospitals," a Zagreb police spokeswoman said.
She also said that several dozen attackers first threw stones on the bus, breaking the windows, and then threw several torches inside.
"Fortunately, they were extinguished quickly," she said.
The bus was carrying VIP guests from Greece for the game between Dinamo Zagreb and PAOK on Wednesday in their last Europa League group stage match.
Dinamo Zagreb supporters have a history of causing crowd troubles, especially at away games in Europe. The club has been heavily fined by UEFA several times in recent years.

Atletico Madrid Coach lost temper - Quique Sanchez Flores

Atletico Madrid coach Quique Sanchez Flores has received a 2-game touchline ban from the Spanish FA (RFEF) as a result of his behavior during his side' s 3-2 home defeat to Espanyol at the weekend.
With his side trailing 3-2 in the closing moments, Quique lost his temper at Espanyol midfielder Javi Marquez, who was lying on the ground after having been fouled and tried to pull him to his feet.
The referee sent Quique to the stands for that action, but at the end of the game, the Atletico coach returned to the pitch to remonstrate with Espanyol striker Luis Garcia, who he later accused of 'laughing at the club and their fans,' . Quique had to be physically restrained by Espanyol goalkeeper Carlos Kameni in the resulting free for all between both sets of players.
The RFEF decided to suspend Quique for one game for his original sending off and for a further match as a result of his decision to return to the field of play.
