110 Metres Hurdles - Amazing Athlete

The 110 metres hurdles is a hurdling track and field event for by men which features in the athletics programme at the Summer Olympic Games. The female counterpart is the 100 metre hurdles. As part of a racing event, ten hurdles of 1.067 metres (3.5 ft or 42 inches) in height are placed evenly spaced along a straight course of 110 metres. They are positioned so that they will fall over if bumped into by the runner. Fallen hurdles do not carry a fixed time penalty for the runners, yet they have a significant pull-over weight which slows down the run. Like the 100 metres sprint, the 110 metre hurdles begins in the starting blocks.

Shaquille O'Neall - New Proffesion

In a league where most stars are basketball obsessives, Shaquille O'Neal(notes) has always stood out as
having a wider range of interests. Between his loves of acting, rapping, law enforcement, comedy and reality television, Shaq has dabbled in more fields than most famous people have dreamed of.
Next Monday, he'll add another entertainment accomplishment to the list: conductor of the Boston Pops. From the Associated Press:
Shaquille O'Neal will climb the podium, put on his tailcoat and white tie and lead the orchestra in Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride" during a concert Monday night at Symphony Hall.
The Boston Celtics' 7-foot-1 center will participate in a program otherwise conducted by Keith Lockhart focusing on Christmas and holiday-season music.
We should probably use the term "conduct" loosely here -- I don't know much about "Sleigh Ride," but I would guess that the Boston Pops can play it without the assistance of a novice conductor. My prediction is that he'll wave the baton around with mock seriousness before biting it. If that won't bring the laffs, I don't know what will.
But while I feel the need to mock Shaq, it's also worth noting that his appearance with the orchestra will likely bring more attention to an art form typically neglected by anyone who hasn't been retired for a decade. He's doing important work, even if it's a little goofy. As usual with Shaq, his need for attention is tied to a willingness to help others.

Goal by Goalkeeper - Airton

The Brazilian Under-17 semi-final was lit up by a freak goal scoring by Juventude keeper Airton after 38 minutes.
After collecting the ball in his box, Ayrton undertook a standard up-and-under to restart the play. Accordingly the 16-year-old shotstopper launched a punt upfield without any great ambitions of creating a goalscoring opportunity from his long booted kick.
That was until Caxias keeper Bernardo had a brainfreeze following a miscommunication with his own centre-half. Instead of ordering his defender to deal with the high ball, no instructions were passed between the keeper and his so-called protector. That meant that when the defender opted to chicken out of heading the ball clear, keeper Bernardo was caught in no-mans-land with respect to the bounce.

Synchronized Swimming - Russian Style

Synchronized swimming is a hybrid form of swimming, dance and gymnastics, consisting of swimmers (either solos, duets, trios, or teams) performing a synchronized routine of elaborate moves in the water, accompanied by music. Synchronized swimming demands advanced water skills, and requires great strength, endurance, flexibility, grace, artistry and precise timing, as well as exceptional breath control when upside down underwater.

Worst Fotball Miss Ever - Fahad Khalfan

In the middle of the Asian Games' quarterfinal match between Qatar and Uzbekistan in China, Qatar's 18-year-old striker Fahad Khalfan had an opportunity to score an easy goal. He raced to the ball by the goal and the opposing goalkeeper overran it. With an empty net, Khalfan kicked the ball off the far post and missed. The ball bounced back to the penalty spot and kicked out of bounds. Quatar lost the match 1-0.
